WELLNESS QUOTIENT
The Wellness Quotient is single numerical value that represents a snapshot of a client's overall state of wellness. The single parameter is unique in both its depth and breadth, as it is an aggregation of all three dimensions of health and well-being (Physical, Bio-Chemical and Psychological) and represents a compilation of over 50 different factors in these dimensions.
Examples of these constituent factors include Vital Lung Capacity, Blood Pressure, Leg Strength and Meal Portion Size Control.
The Wellness Quotient is calculated from three sources: (1) the CWAS
physiologic assessment, (2) the "Three Dimensional" Questionnaire, and (3) the Insight Subluxation Station Scans. The CWAS physiologic assessment and Insight Subluxation Station Scans are physiologic performances, whereas the "Three Dimensional Questionnaire" is a self-reported life-style assessment.
The scale of the Wellness Quotient is quite straight-forward:
1. The Wellness Quotient has no theoretical maximum score, as there is no theoretical "perfect" wellness.
2. All of the data is normalized to the client's gender, age, height, etc so that you can compare "apples to apples". A score of 125 is equally excellent for both a 6'5" 21 year old male, and a 5'1" 71 year old female.
3. The "magic" number for "normal stress levels" is a score of 100. You will see this as the beginning of the white region of the graph.
4. A score of 200 is "off the charts" in terms of performance, but very much possible if a client achieves extraordinary wellness in all three dimensions.
